Tuning Forks Privacy Policy

Last revised: October 26, 2026

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tuning Forks Inc. (“Tuning Forks”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and shares information about you when you use our website at https://tuningforks.co and its subdomains (the “Website”), Bella, our AI personal assistant available on Telegram and through our mobile apps for iOS and Android (the “Assistant”), and any related services, features and tools we offer (together, the “Services”). “You” and “your” refer to you as a user of the Services.

Please read this policy carefully. By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use and sharing of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will change the “Last revised” date above when we do. If we make material changes to how we use or share your information, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as sending a message through the Assistant or emailing the address you gave us, and any other steps required by law. If you do not agree with an updated policy, please stop using the Services.

Information we collect and how we use it

We collect information from you directly, from your use of the Services, and from services you choose to connect. Beyond the specific uses below, we use this information to run and improve the Services: to understand your requests, plan and carry out tasks for you (including contacting third parties on your behalf), personalise responses based on your past interactions, communicate with you, analyse performance, keep the Services safe and secure, meet legal obligations, and protect our rights and the rights of others. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or anyone who resells it.

Information you give us

Some features require information from you. You can choose not to provide it, but those features may then be unavailable.

How Bella gets to know you

Bella is a personal assistant, so it becomes more helpful the more it knows about you. Over time, through your ordinary conversations, it builds up the following, and uses it to personalise its help: for example, remembering who people are, suggesting your usual choices and following up on things you are working on.

Your profile and patterns come only from your own words and the tasks you ask for. Content you merely receive, such as forwarded messages, emails, documents or web pages, is never treated as a fact about you. Bella does not infer sensitive characteristics, such as your health, religion, political views, sexual orientation, ethnicity, immigration status or financial difficulties, unless you state them about yourself. Nothing in your profile or memories can approve an action: sending, sharing, deleting or paying always needs your request and your approval at the time.

You stay in control. You can ask Bella what it knows about you, ask it to forget something, or say “show me my data” for a private page where you can see your profile, the check-ins Bella has planned and your memories, clear your profile, delete individual memories, and download everything we hold about you.

Information the Assistant handles for you

Bella is an AI assistant that plans and takes actions to help with everyday and business tasks, such as managing email and calendar, drafting replies, looking things up, and handling customer conversations. What it can see depends on the permissions you grant.

We do not use your information, including your messages, voice notes, files or content from connected services, to train, fine-tune or improve AI models. We also do not permit the AI model providers we work with to use your information to train their models.

The Assistant is not a professional advisor. Do not rely on it for financial, legal, medical or other decisions that need professional judgement.

Information from Google services

If you connect a Google account, we receive access to the Google services you authorise, such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive, along with related content and metadata provided through Google APIs. We use this information only to provide and personalise the Services, including letting the Assistant act on your behalf.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use this information to train, fine-tune or improve AI models, or to serve advertising. Where third parties, including AI model providers, process this information for us, they may do so only to help us provide the Services and for limited legal purposes such as security and legal compliance, and never for their own model training.

You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time by asking the Assistant or through your Google account settings, and you can ask us to delete information we collected from Google by contacting us.

Information we collect automatically

When you use the Services, we automatically collect some information about your activity (“Usage Data”). We use it to tailor the Services, develop and improve our products, run analytics and understand how people use the Services.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from third parties, including from services you connect and from sign-in providers that share basic profile details such as your name and email address. Disconnecting a service stops new access but does not automatically delete information we already collected; you can ask us to delete it by contacting us. We handle information from other sources in line with this policy, but we are not responsible for its accuracy or for third parties' own practices.

Deidentified information

We may deidentify information so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you, and we may use deidentified information for any purpose. We will keep it in deidentified form and will not try to reidentify it, except to test that our deidentification meets legal requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on the Website to remember your preferences, understand how the Website is used, and show you relevant offers. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can usually block or delete them in your browser settings. Some parts of the Website may not work properly if you do.

Some browsers send privacy signals such as “Do Not Track”. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising, as required by applicable state law. The Website does not currently respond to other signals such as “Do Not Track”.

How we share information

We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:

We may also share information when we believe it is needed to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests from authorities, prevent fraud or illegal activity, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the safety and security of our users, the public, our business and our team.

Retention, your choices and international transfers

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for as long as necessary to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete or deidentify it. In particular:

When you delete your account, we delete your information, except a small anonymous record with no name or contact details (such as your country, when you joined and left, and how much you used the Services) that we keep for statistics.

WhatsApp. Bella was previously available on WhatsApp. We discontinued it on October 25, 2026, after Meta stopped allowing AI assistants as a product on WhatsApp. We no longer send or receive WhatsApp messages. If you used Bella on WhatsApp, we keep your account information, including your phone number, until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, or to complain to a data protection authority. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

International transfers

Tuning Forks is based in the United States, and our service providers may operate in other countries. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Third-party sites and services

The Services may link to or work with third-party websites, apps and platforms, including Telegram, Apple's App Store and Google Play, that we do not control. Their own privacy policies and terms apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Information you post in public or shared spaces, such as group chats, may be visible to others. Linking to a third party does not mean we endorse it.

Children's privacy

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, particularly a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us.

Security and AI assistant risks

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure, and information sent over the internet or messaging networks may not be secure in transit. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information through unsecured channels.

Because the Assistant can act on your behalf, it carries additional risks. It may take an action you did not intend, including sending a message or making a payment; it may produce incorrect or incomplete results; and content from third parties may contain misleading instructions designed to manipulate AI assistants. We ask for your approval before payments, but please review the Assistant's actions and stay attentive while using it.

Delaware residents

If you are a Delaware resident, the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act (Del. Code tit. 6, ch. 12D) gives you the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:

We do not sell personal data. We process sensitive data, such as precise location or health information, only with your consent. We do not process personal data of consumers we know to be 13 to 17 years old for targeted advertising or sale without consent.

How to exercise your rights. Email privacy@tuningforks.co or message the Assistant. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within 45 days, which we may extend by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, and we will tell you if we do. You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@tuningforks.co with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal”. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Delaware Department of Justice.
